Croatia Airlines CEO Jasmin Bajić to leave on 5 December

Croatia Airlines chief executive Jasmin Bajić has resigned for health reasons and will retire, with his departure effective 5 December. The resignation was submitted on 4 November. The carrier’s new management is expected to be appointed within a month; no successor has been named. Bajić has led the Croatian flag carrier since 2017, following a career at the airline that began in 1995.

Before becoming CEO, Bajić held management positions spanning strategy, fleet and network planning, and finance. His departure comes as Croatia Airlines replaces its fleet with Airbus A220s.

The airline recorded a net loss of €64.7 million in the first nine months of 2026, compared with €20.9 million in the same period a year earlier. The reported pressures include weaker seasonal demand and challenges associated with fleet renewal.
