The second serial Yakovlev MS-21-310, built for Aeroflot, has moved from final assembly to the flight-test division at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. Factory number 0015 was rolled out in Irkutsk on 31 August and is now entering ground checks and powered systems testing before its first flight, extending the Russian narrowbody programme beyond assembly and into flight-test preparation.
The aircraft is the second serial example in the MS-21-310 production sequence. Reports also indicate that the first serial aircraft entered flight testing earlier in August, allowing the Irkutsk plant to advance the line while freeing assembly capacity for the next airframe in the batch.
The jet is described as being built with Russian components, while commercial deliveries to airlines remain planned for 2027. No first-flight date or new airline delivery schedule has been disclosed in the accessible material.
