CPK’s planned central airport in Poland has completed test piling for the passenger terminal and is moving towards full foundation works. Budimex carried out the terminal foundation works at the future Port Polska hub, where 94 test and anchor piles were installed and load testing is now under way before construction advances.
The next stage will be the actual foundation work for the passenger terminal. Earthworks are already progressing in parallel, while procurement continues for the terminal and related infrastructure. The latest step puts the project beyond early preparation and into heavier civil construction at one of Europe’s largest planned airport developments.
The work is taking place at the future airport site in central Poland, where the passenger terminal forms part of the wider Port Polska programme. Industry and transport reporting in Poland has tracked the phase shift closely as the project advances through its next construction sequence.
