PlaneSense to equip entire Pilatus fleet with Gogo Galileo satellite Wi-Fi

PlaneSense will equip all 71 aircraft in its Pilatus fleet with Gogo Galileo satellite Wi-Fi, extending high-speed connectivity across 51 PC-12 turboprops and 20 PC-24 business jets. The US fractional aircraft-ownership provider will also install the system on future deliveries, with the programme expected to be complete by the end of 2027.

The first Galileo-equipped PC-24 is scheduled for delivery in late October 2026, when retrofits of the existing PC-24 fleet will begin. Pilatus will install the system at the factory on subsequent new PC-24s, while work on PlaneSense’s PC-12s is due to start in November.

Gogo Galileo uses Eutelsat OneWeb’s low-Earth-orbit satellite network and a compact, electronically steered HDX antenna. The system offers specified download speeds of up to 60 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 11 Mbps. PlaneSense selected the service after evaluating connectivity options intended to provide faster and more reliable internet access in flight, including support for simultaneous videoconferencing and streaming by multiple passengers.

PlaneSense, based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, describes its operation as the largest commercial Pilatus fleet in the United States. The announcement does not disclose the value of the programme or installation costs.
