Air China and Aegean Airlines have expanded their codeshare partnership for the Northern Winter 2026/27 timetable, adding services between China and Greece as well as four domestic Greek routes. Effective from 25 October, Aegean placed its flight code on Air China-operated services from Beijing Capital to Athens and Guangzhou, while Air China added its code to Aegean flights from Athens to Heraklion, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and Santorini.
The expanded arrangement gives Aegean passengers additional access to Air China services under an Aegean flight number and extends Air China’s codeshare reach to four Greek destinations beyond Athens. The routes complement the carriers’ existing cooperation linking their networks through the Greek capital and Chinese gateways.
The partnership covers both international and domestic sectors. The Greek destinations are Heraklion on Crete, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and Thira, the airport serving Santorini. The two airlines are members of Star Alliance, providing an alliance framework for their wider network cooperation. No details have been disclosed on frequencies, aircraft types, booking-class restrictions or whether the codeshare applies to every departure on the named routes.
