KLM will increase premium-cabin capacity on services between the Netherlands and Aruba and Bonaire during the 2026–27 winter schedule, deploying Boeing 777 and Boeing 787-10 aircraft from 25 October. The aircraft will replace Airbus A330s and provide approximately 35 World Business Class seats and 24 Premium Comfort Class seats, expanding premium options on the Dutch Caribbean routes.
The previous A330 configuration offered around 30 World Business Class seats and no equivalent Premium Comfort capacity. Seating in the remaining cabins will stay broadly comparable, meaning the aircraft change is focused on upgrading and expanding the premium segment rather than materially increasing overall cabin capacity.
KLM is adjusting the fleet in response to rising demand for premium travel, greater comfort and personalised service. Frédérique Pelger, the airline’s vice-president for Benelux, the Dutch Caribbean and Suriname, said passenger preferences were driving continued development of the Aruba and Bonaire services, which connect the islands with the Netherlands and KLM’s wider network.
KLM is also increasing Amsterdam–Curaçao frequencies during the winter period, but that is a separate schedule change from the premium-capacity increase on the Aruba and Bonaire services.
