Oneworld has partnered with Timeshifter to give round-the-world travellers a complimentary jet lag plan on itineraries booked through oneworld.com. The service is available immediately and covers the journey from departure to the final return, adding a traveller-facing benefit to the alliance’s multi-stop product, which spans nearly 1,000 destinations.
The Timeshifter app uses trip details, time-zone crossings and individual sleep patterns to generate a personalised mitigation plan. Oneworld’s round-the-world tickets are typically used for complex leisure journeys, with customers booking an average of seven stops and travelling for about three months, making fatigue management a practical issue on long-haul itineraries.
Timeshifter is described as the world’s most-downloaded jet lag app, with more than 1.7 million users. The partnership does not alter the underlying fare structure, but it extends the round-the-world offer with a health and convenience feature designed for long-distance travel across multiple time zones.
