Airbus Corporate Helicopters has appointed Nicolas Boltoukhine as its new head, replacing Frédéric Lemos after his recent departure. Boltoukhine will oversee the division’s global strategy, marketing and operations, bringing nearly 40 years of aviation experience and more than 10,000 flight hours across helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
Boltoukhine joined Airbus in 2022 as operational marketing manager for the H160 programme, giving him direct involvement in one of the company’s key helicopter platforms. His background also includes dual-rated piloting experience, positioning him to lead Airbus’s business aviation-focused helicopter unit through its next phase.
Olivier Michalon, Airbus Helicopters executive vice president, framed the appointment as a match between operational expertise and commercial aviation leadership. ACH serves Airbus Helicopters’ corporate and VIP customer base, making continuity in management important for its market strategy and day-to-day operations.
