Neuberger Specialty Finance has launched New Bridge AeroFinance, a new aerospace financing platform focused on originating and acquiring loans and other debt instruments across the sector. Led by Richard Moody, with Debbie Frew and William Glaister as co-founders and principals, the platform aims to build a portfolio of more than US$2 billion and targets aircraft and aerospace-related debt through asset-based investments.
The strategy is designed to provide downside protection and durable cash flows, positioning the platform in a part of aviation finance where structured, asset-backed funding remains a significant source of capital. The new vehicle broadens the pool of lenders active in aerospace credit at a time when financing demand continues across aircraft and related assets.
New Bridge AeroFinance will pursue opportunities across the aerospace sector rather than limiting itself to a single asset class or borrower type. Its mandate covers both loan origination and secondary acquisitions, giving the platform flexibility to deploy capital across different debt structures as market conditions shift.
