LAM Mozambique Airlines fully paid €30.2 million (2.2 billion meticais) for five aircraft in 2025, marking a decisive fleet rebuild after reversing a €54.1 million loss the prior year. The acquisition includes two Embraer E190s delivered in December 2025 and one De Havilland Q400 registered in August 2025, with remaining units secured under the airline’s AOC by year-end. This capital expenditure, supported by €81 million in debt write-offs and new equity from HCB, Emose, and CFM, positions LAM to restore regional routes in East and Southern Africa. The airline recorded a €72.6 million profit in 2025, signaling operational recovery and financial stability for the state-linked carrier.
