Tata Consultancy Services has been appointed Technology and Innovation Partner for New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport, assuming full responsibility for the terminal’s technology and innovation mandate within the Port Authority’s $19 billion JFK transformation. TCS will deploy its Cognix and ignio solutions to deliver end-to-end visibility across passenger processing, baggage handling, and terminal security, while managing AI-driven IT operations, enterprise application support, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity. The partnership targets lower airline operating costs and a seamless, next-generation guest experience at the 2.6 million-square-foot facility, which opens in phases from 2026 with full completion in 2030 and 23 international gates.
