JetZero has closed a senior secured term loan facility of up to $100 million to support development of its Z4 all-wing aircraft programme. The financing, led by Pinegrove Credit Partners and Silicon Valley Bank, will fund technology maturation, Jet1 demonstrator manufacturing and expansion of manufacturing and test facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Z4 is JetZero’s blended-wing-body design for about 250 passengers and a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles. JetZero has said the aircraft could cut fuel burn and emissions by as much as 50% compared with conventional tube-and-wing aircraft of similar size.
The facility is structured around programme milestones rather than a single upfront drawdown, aligning funding with progress on the demonstrator and industrial buildout. JetZero’s Greensboro site is intended to support future production readiness as the company works towards early-2030s entry into service.
