Jetstream Aviation Capital has delivered its first Saab 340B(F) freighter to Ryan Air, adding dedicated cargo lift for the Alaska-based operator’s scheduled and charter services across Western Alaska. The aircraft, serial 340B-329, expands Ryan Air’s fleet as the carrier serves more than 80 communities and destinations across the state.
The Saab 340B(F) arrived in Anchorage from Bellingham on 4 August after positioning legs earlier that day. Ryan Air will deploy the turboprop on freight missions in a network where short-haul air cargo remains a critical logistics link for supplies and scheduled freight movement.
Jetstream describes its fleet as comprising more than 150 regional passenger and cargo aircraft, spanning multiple types used by operators in regional markets. No registration, transaction value or lease terms were disclosed, and the available material does not identify whether the freighter entered immediate service beyond its intended cargo role.
