Andorra-La Seu airport sets record 1,063 movements in July

The Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition of Catalonia reported that Andorra-La Seu airport handled 1,063 aircraft movements in July 2026, the highest monthly total since the airport opened. Traffic was 83% higher than a year earlier, with about 35% of the movements linked to public-service missions at the Lleida-based airport serving the Andorra-Pirineus area.

The figures underline the airport’s dual role as both a gateway for tourism to Andorra and the Pyrenees and a base for public-service and emergency operations. The July total also reflects strong seasonal demand at a small regional facility whose activity mix is not driven solely by commercial passenger traffic.

The latest data contain no passenger breakdown, airline detail or route-by-route information, limiting the release to a traffic snapshot rather than a wider market update. Even so, the record month points to sustained growth in operations at one of Spain’s more strategically placed regional airports.
