Heston Materials secures US$20 million financing from Volofin

Heston Materials, the aviation components and maintenance-materials supplier within Heston Aviation Group, has secured initial financing of US$20 million from Volofin Capital Management. The flexible arrangement is intended to fund aviation-asset acquisitions and support business expansion, enabling the company to broaden its products and services for airlines, MRO organisations and other aviation customers worldwide.

Heston Materials director Kęstutis Volungevičius said the funding would support the company’s strategic plans and help it respond more flexibly to changing market demand. The company’s chief financial officer, Petras Akstinas, described the structure as allowing capital to be drawn as new business opportunities emerge, while maintaining disciplined financing and capital allocation.

Volofin Capital Management director Adam Kubas linked the financing to Heston Materials’ growth plans and opportunities in the aviation market. The arrangement could allow the supplier to move more quickly on acquisitions and other expansion initiatives, although the available details do not specify its maturity, interest rate, security, commitment fees or drawdown conditions.

The reference to initial financing also leaves unclear whether the full US$20 million is immediately available or represents the first stage of a broader funding arrangement.
