Helvetic Airways will launch a new weekly service from Bern Belp to Patras, Greece, for the summer 2027 season. Flights to Araxos Airport, serving the Patras area, are scheduled to operate on Fridays from 1 June 2027. The Swiss carrier will base an Embraer E190-E2, along with cockpit and cabin crews and an in-house maintenance team, at Bern Airport for the season.
The route will expand Helvetic Airways’ direct leisure network from Bern to western Greece. The carrier’s wider summer programme will include Heraklion, Kos, Rhodes, Mallorca, Larnaca and Djerba, with services to several of those destinations operating multiple times per week.
TUI Suisse is marketing the Patras connection as part of its Bern programme. Travel-industry listings show Friday flights during two periods: from 2 July to 6 August and from 17 September to 15 October 2027. Return fares were listed from CHF 399.
The differing published schedules—one referring to weekly service from 1 June and the other to two operating periods from July—should be confirmed with Helvetic Airways or TUI Suisse before publication.
