Tecnam has appointed Giovanni Pascale Langer as chief executive officer, transferring operational leadership of the Italian general-aviation aircraft manufacturer to the third generation of the Pascale family. Paolo Pascale Langer, who led the Capua-based company for several decades, becomes chairman. The changes took effect on 8 October 2026 and do not include announced revisions to aircraft programmes, production targets, staffing or ownership.
Born in 1991, Giovanni Pascale Langer joined Tecnam as an assembly trainee and subsequently worked across several departments. A commercial pilot licensed in Italy and the United States, he became managing director in 2019 and worked alongside Paolo Pascale Langer on the company’s international commercial development.
His responsibilities included markets in Australia, the United States, India and South America, as well as direct oversight of operations in Capua and at Tecnam US. As CEO, he will focus on strengthening Tecnam’s international position, expanding its product and service offering, accelerating digitalisation and improving industrial processes.
Founded in 1948, Tecnam manufactures general-aviation aircraft from its base in Capua. The leadership transition retains Paolo Pascale Langer in a senior governance role while placing day-to-day operational control with the family’s next generation.
