LEAV Aviation wet-leases Airbus A321 from DAT Lithuania

LEAV Aviation has added an Airbus A321-200 on wet lease from DAT Lithuania to support its operations, providing capacity beyond the Cologne-based carrier’s reported fleet of three A320s. The 28-year-old aircraft, registered OY-RUU, began flying for LEAV on 19 October 2026. It has been deployed on routes including Düsseldorf–Rhodes and Cologne/Bonn–Antalya.

DAT Lithuania is the Lithuanian subsidiary of Danish carrier DAT. The aircraft’s use by LEAV is reported as a wet lease, under which the lessor provides the aircraft and operating crew; no lease duration or financial terms have been disclosed. Its passenger configuration has also not been reported.

The A321 has been observed on several of LEAV’s services, including flights from Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn. No public explanation has been given for the operational decision, and the available information does not specify whether the additional capacity is intended for a particular contract or seasonal programme.
