Flexjet opens Farnborough private terminal and training centre in European expansion

Flexjet has opened its first private terminal outside North America at Farnborough Airport near London, adding a dedicated facility for its owners and guests as well as an international training centre and operational hub. The 2,098-square-metre ramp-side terminal, which cost about $34 million, gives the private aviation group a separate airside gateway with onsite security and immigration screening, away from the airport’s main terminal.

The Farnborough site expands Flexjet’s European infrastructure at one of the UK’s busiest business aviation airports and supports its growing fractional and private flying business in the region. In addition to passenger hospitality areas, the building houses the Red Label Academy for cabin staff training and operational control functions, giving the terminal a broader support role across the company’s fleet and service network.

The opening also extends Flexjet’s global terminal strategy beyond the United States, where it already operates or is developing similar facilities. Farnborough now sits alongside the company’s wider investment in infrastructure, training and customer handling as it builds a larger international footprint.
