Ethiopian Airlines adds Nacala to Mozambique network from 27 October

Ethiopian Airlines will launch three weekly passenger flights to Nacala, Mozambique, from 27 October 2026, using a Boeing 737-8. The new service makes Nacala the carrier’s third destination in Mozambique, alongside Maputo and Beira, and connects the northern coastal city with Addis Ababa via a tri-weekly schedule on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The route is planned as ET 875, with the published timetable showing an Addis Ababa–Blantyre–Nacala rotation before returning to the Ethiopian hub. The opening adds a new option for travel to Mozambique’s north-eastern coast, where Nacala serves as a port city with business and regional passenger demand. Ethiopian continues to broaden its African network through secondary and underserved markets, while retaining feed through Addis Ababa for onward connections across its wider route system.
