Espai Aero Comunitat Valenciana has signed a collaboration agreement with ISERN Patentes y Marcas to strengthen the protection and valuation of aerospace innovation across the Valencian ecosystem. The partnership is designed to bring industrial and intellectual property management into company strategy from the earliest project stages, with a focus on patents, confidentiality and the commercial use of new technologies.
The agreement covers advice on patentability, competitor analysis, infringement and dependency risks, as well as protection for software, algorithms, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, databases, trademarks, designs and trade secrets. It also includes freedom-to-operate studies, technology watch, patent trend analysis and support for contracts, licences, collaborative projects and technology transfer.
Planned follow-up activity includes workshops, training on confidentiality and ownership, preliminary IP diagnostics and sector reports. Espai Aero CV and ISERN also intend to open a diagnostic channel for member companies and launch a patent and technology observatory focused on priority areas in the regional aerospace ecosystem.
