Embraer delivers first Praetor 600E to Flexjet

Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet in Melbourne, Florida, making the fractional operator the launch customer for the updated super-midsize jet. The handover came as part of Flexjet’s long-standing fleet renewal programme with Embraer and moves the aircraft into service after its certification and introduction to the market this year.

The delivery is linked to Flexjet’s $7 billion agreement with Embraer for 182 aircraft and 30 options, signed in February 2025. The order covers Praetor- and Phenom-family aircraft and is set to expand Flexjet’s Embraer fleet over several years. Flexjet expects to receive 12 Praetor 600Es by the end of 2026, with Praetor 500E deliveries due later in the year.

Embraer and Flexjet highlighted cabin features on the inaugural aircraft, including the Smart Window and a 42-inch 4K OLED monitor. The Praetor 500E is due to follow as Flexjet becomes the launch customer for that model as well.
