Eindhoven Airport handled 4,675,648 passengers during the 2026 summer season, from 29 March to 25 October, while recording 25,946 aircraft movements. Passenger numbers rose from nearly 4.6 million in summer 2025 even as movements fell by 773, or about 2.9%. The airport’s average load was 182 passengers per flight, equivalent to 91% of seat capacity.
May and August each passed 700,000 passengers for the first time, with totals of 718,689 and 704,208 respectively. On 25 May, the airport recorded 25,487 passengers in a day, exceeding its previous record of 24,935, set on 5 May 2025. Málaga, London and Alicante were the most popular destinations.
Eindhoven reported minimal operational delays and cancellations. Its average passenger Net Promoter Score from April through October was 41, unchanged from the same period in 2025. The airport credited smooth passenger flows with supporting the experience, while noting that terminal construction and temporary facilities had a negative effect.
The terminal extension is expected to open on 19 July 2027, when flight operations are scheduled to resume after a runway closure. The airport expects passenger satisfaction to improve following the opening.
