EFW has redelivered the fifth and final Airbus A330-200 passenger-to-freighter conversion to EgyptAir Cargo under the current agreement between the two companies. The aircraft departed EFW’s site in Dresden and continued to Cairo, completing the latest phase of a programme that began with EgyptAir Cargo as the launch customer for the A330-200 P2F in 2018.
The handover brings EFW’s total deliveries to EgyptAir Cargo to nine wide-body freighters across different Airbus generations. Secondary reporting identified the aircraft as SU-GCH, which left Dresden and arrived at Cairo International Airport on the same day. The latest delivery closes the current A330-200 conversion order, extending a relationship between the German conversion specialist and the Egyptian carrier that has spanned nearly three decades.
