BermudAir shifts Orlando service to Sanford and expands Florida routes

BermudAir began flying between Bermuda and Orlando Sanford International Airport on 31 October, replacing Orlando International Airport as its Central Florida gateway. The move preserves the Bermuda connection while the airline expands its Florida network with seasonal services to Belize and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands from Fort Lauderdale. Further Belize flights from Sanford and the St. Petersburg–Tampa area are scheduled to start in December, using Embraer E190s.

The Sanford–Bermuda service operates nonstop. BermudAir’s schedule also lists Sanford–Belize flights from December, alongside a new Belize connection from St. Petersburg–Clearwater. The airline launched Fort Lauderdale–Belize and Fort Lauderdale–Providenciales on 26 October; both routes are scheduled three times weekly through 3 May 2027.

The airport switch was announced in June. BermudAir had been serving Orlando International and moved the operation to Sanford without ending the Bermuda link. The route changes extend the airline’s Florida network beyond Bermuda connections, adding nonstop access to Belize and the Turks and Caicos. Frequencies and operating dates vary by route and season.
