Azul has expanded its fleet across cargo, long-haul and regional operations with the arrival of an Airbus A321P2F freighter, an Airbus A330-200 and the start of the ferry flight of its first Cessna 408 SkyCourier to Brazil for Azul Conecta. The aircraft moves, reported in late September, strengthen Azul Logística, add widebody capacity for international routes and introduce the first twin-engine aircraft in Azul Conecta’s fleet.
The A321P2F, registered PS-AJF, arrived in Brazil on 18 September and is due to join Azul Logística as the third of six planned freighters. The A330-200, registered PR-AHF, followed on 19 September and is set to support Azul’s long-haul network, especially services to the United States and Europe.
The first SkyCourier, PS-ENE, began its ferry flight from the United States on 22 September and is expected to enter Azul Conecta service after nationalisation in Belo Horizonte-Confins. Configured for 19 passengers, the aircraft opens new regional and charter flying options for the subsidiary.
