Aviation Capital Group Orders 75 Airbus A320neo Family Aircraft for Delivery from 2032

Aviation Capital Group has placed a firm order with Airbus for 75 A320neo Family aircraft, its largest aircraft purchase to date. The Newport Beach, California-based lessor is scheduled to receive the single-aisle jets between 2032 and 2035, expanding its future inventory for placement with airline customers and taking its cumulative orders for the family to 190.

The agreement includes conversion rights between A320neo Family variants, allowing ACG to adjust the composition of its deliveries as customer requirements develop. Airbus and ACG did not disclose the planned split between A320neo and A321neo aircraft or the transaction’s actual acquisition cost.

ACG had 118 A320neo Family aircraft in its fleet at the end of June 2026. The new commitment brings its outstanding orders for the family to 115 aircraft. Airbus has worked with the lessor since 2007 and described the order as enabling ACG to offer the aircraft to airline customers well into the next decade.

Reuters reported a combined list price of about 1.856 trillion yen, equivalent to approximately $11.76 billion, while noting that the actual purchase price remains confidential. The order secures production positions years ahead of delivery as lessors build future portfolios of next-generation narrowbody aircraft.
