Airbus secures largest-ever ACG order for 75 A320neo Family aircraft

Airbus has secured a firm order for 75 A320neo Family aircraft from US-based lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG), its largest order in nearly 40 years of operation. Deliveries are scheduled from 2032 to 2035, with conversion rights between family variants giving ACG flexibility over the eventual aircraft mix and extending its fleet offering well into the next decade.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, ACG is wholly owned by Japan’s Tokyo Century Corporation. The transaction increases its historical A320neo Family orders to 190 and takes outstanding orders for the family to 115. ACG had 118 A320neo Family aircraft in its portfolio at the end of June 2026.

The lessor plans to use the additional capacity to support airline customers’ fleet replacement and growth requirements. The order also extends ACG’s orderbook into the mid-2030s and supports further expansion. Airbus and ACG have worked together since 2007, when the lessor placed its first direct order with the manufacturer. Airbus’s A320 Family has accumulated more than 20,400 orders globally.
