Atlas Air Worldwide has announced a strategic equity investment in Air Atlanta, the Iceland-based long-haul ACMI and charter operator, marking a new step in its outsourced capacity platform.
The transaction, disclosed on May 27, 2026, gives Atlas the role of anchor strategic investor in Air Atlanta while leaving the Icelandic carrier to operate as an independent airline under its own brand and existing management.
