ALM acquires Cebu Pacific A320neo in fleet expansion

Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of another Airbus A320neo, the third of four aircraft of that type scheduled for delivery in 2026, as the carrier continues its fleet modernisation programme. The aircraft arrived in Manila on 11 September from Airbus’ facility in Tianjin, China, and lifts the share of new-generation NEO jets in Cebu Pacific’s fleet to 77%.

The delivery forms part of a broader renewal push that is set to bring seven NEO aircraft into the airline’s fleet this year, covering both A320 and A321 variants. Cebu Pacific uses the A320neo family to improve fuel efficiency and support network flexibility, while continuing to expand capacity across its domestic and short-haul international operations. The latest arrival adds to a pattern of steady narrowbody replacement across Asia-Pacific carriers seeking lower operating costs and a more modern fleet mix.
