Airbus will put a mediated labour pre-agreement to a vote across its Spanish sites on 24 and 25 September, with employees deciding whether to accept terms intended to ease the ongoing dispute at its operations in Spain. The ballot covers centres including Getafe, Illescas, Albacete, Cádiz, Tablada and San Pablo, and the proposal includes wage rises linked to actual inflation plus a 7.95% recovery of purchasing power over four years.
The referendum follows talks brokered by Spain’s Ministry of Industry on 4 September and will be supervised by auditors and PwC to ensure transparency. The deal also keeps the current telework arrangement in place and adds broader labour and social improvements.
CCOO, ATP and SIPA have backed the proposal, while CGT and ÚTIL remain outside the agreement. The vote is intended to settle labour tensions that have fed strike pressure at Airbus’s Spanish operations and to define conditions for the next four years.
