Air Serbia’s Elevate loyalty programme has passed 200,000 members, reaching the figure a little over four months after its launch in June. The carrier had initially forecast 280,000 members in the programme’s first year. Members earn points on eligible Air Serbia flights and additional services, which can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and other travel benefits.
The programme has four status tiers: Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Air Serbia plans to develop it with partners in other sectors, potentially extending opportunities to earn and use points beyond air travel. A member reaching the 200,000 mark was due to receive Gold status.
CEO Jiří Marek linked the programme’s launch with the airline’s recent increase in growth, but described it as a possible contributing factor. Air Serbia’s reported growth rate rose from 3% through June to more than 10% from July; the figures do not establish that Elevate caused the change.
