Air Serbia has launched nonstop service between Belgrade and Tenerife, opening a twice-weekly route that makes the Canary Islands destination its seventh in Spain. The inaugural flight operated on an Airbus A320, while the carrier plans to use wet-leased airBaltic Airbus A220-300 aircraft on most winter services.
Flights depart Belgrade on Tuesdays and Saturdays and return from Tenerife on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route was brought forward from an initial late-October start because of strong demand, and it becomes Air Serbia’s longest intra-European service. The launch also extends the airline’s Spanish network, which already includes Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia and Alicante, with Seville due to follow later in the month.
