Air Peace has added a third Airbus A320-200 from Avion Express to its wet-lease fleet, with the 19-year-old, 180-seat aircraft registered as LY-NVJ arriving in Lagos on 5 September after a ferry flight from Vilnius via Castellón. The delivery extends temporary capacity support from the Lithuanian lessor as the Nigerian carrier works to steady operations and ease fleet pressure.
The latest A320 joins two Avion Express aircraft already flying for Air Peace since May, giving the airline a further narrowbody available for scheduled services during a period of operational disruption. Aircraft tracking records placed LY-NVJ in position for Air Peace wet-lease duties on 3 and 5 September, matching the arrival timeline.
Air Peace has relied on leased Airbus narrowbodies to preserve network capacity while it manages internal constraints. The continued use of wet-lease lift points to an ongoing short-term strategy rather than a one-off adjustment, with Avion Express remaining central to that support.
