Air France to open flagship lounge at JFK’s New Terminal One

Air France will open a 29,000-square-foot flagship lounge at New York’s JFK airport when New Terminal One begins operations in early 2027. The two-level space will be the carrier’s largest lounge outside Paris and is designed for more than 400 passengers, with dedicated dining, work, relaxation and beauty-treatment areas.

The lounge forms part of Air France’s move of all JFK operations to the new terminal. Access is set to extend to business-class and La Première passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and eligible KLM and SkyTeam travellers. A French-chef dining area will also feature in the premium offer.

New Terminal One itself has been delayed and is now expected to open in phases from the first quarter of 2027. Air France’s lounge will open alongside the terminal’s launch phase, positioning the airline for a major premium-service upgrade at one of its key transatlantic gateways.
