Air Astana Group expands international network from Astana

Air Astana Group has added eight scheduled and charter destinations from Astana in 2026, expanding the Kazakhstan capital’s international network to 32 destinations. The new links serve Guangzhou, Bangkok, Larnaca, Dalaman, Batumi, Issyk-Kul, Salalah and Yining, combining business-oriented markets in Asia with leisure destinations across the Mediterranean, Central Asia and the Gulf.

Weekly frequencies on existing international routes have risen from 99 to 116 across Air Astana and its low-cost subsidiary FlyArystan. Additional capacity has been deployed on services to Beijing, Seoul, Frankfurt, Istanbul and Dubai.

Compared with 2025, available seats on the Astana–Beijing route have increased by 55%, while capacity on Astana–Seoul and Astana–Istanbul has grown by 20%. The expansion also includes new seasonal and charter flying, although detailed launch dates, operating carriers and route-specific schedules were not disclosed in the available information.

The network development broadens Astana’s role as a gateway for both connecting and leisure traffic, with the group’s expansion in China and Southeast Asia complemented by new links to Cyprus, Turkey, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Oman.
