Condor to replace Eintracht Frankfurt A320 with A320neo

Condor will replace its Eintracht Frankfurt-branded Airbus A320ceo, registered D-ASGE, with an Airbus A320neo from spring 2027. The 180-seat aircraft will retain the airline’s striped livery and the football club’s eagle emblem, operating scheduled and charter services, including potential flights for the team and supporters.

The replacement is part of Condor’s renewal of its short- and medium-haul fleet with Airbus A320neo-family aircraft. Compared with the current-generation A320, the neo combines newer engines and aerodynamic improvements intended to reduce fuel consumption and noise emissions.

Because D-ASGE and the replacement aircraft will operate in parallel for a short period, the existing registration cannot be transferred. Condor is asking fans to choose between D-AFRA, D-AFFM and D-AEIN in comments beneath an Instagram post. Voting is due to close on 29 October, with the winning registration expected to be assigned to the new aircraft.

Condor plans to introduce the A320neo before D-ASGE leaves the fleet, avoiding a gap in the Eintracht-branded operation. The current aircraft’s future has not been disclosed. The new cabin is expected to remain broadly similar, although Condor has not provided detailed specifications.
