Duncan Aviation has expanded its aircraft-interior design organisation with two lead-designer hires and three promotions across its full-service facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska; Battle Creek, Michigan; and Provo, Utah. The changes add capacity for business-aircraft cabin-refurbishment projects, covering customer concepts and selections through production, installation and completion.
Misty Brookson and Christine Bonk have joined the Lincoln team as lead designers, having started with Duncan Aviation in April and January 2026, respectively. In Battle Creek, Lauren Hawkins and Lauren Burkhardt have been promoted to associate designer II. Amie Jensen has advanced from finish and cabinetry assistant to lead designer at the Provo facility.
The designers work with sales representatives, project managers, engineers and technicians on integrated refurbishment programmes. Their responsibilities include seating, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, fabrics and other interior finishes, while balancing customer preferences with weight, durability, certification, maintainability, project scope and production requirements.
Duncan Aviation has also appointed four design assistants: Tara Schamehorn in Battle Creek, Halle Russell and Schyler Hoberty in Lincoln, and Taelyn Fauset in Provo. They will support material-sample preparation, customer presentations, research, selections, documentation and communication across the design teams.
