Aviation Capital Group places record order for 75 Airbus A320neo Family jets

Aviation Capital Group has placed a firm order with Airbus for 75 A320neo Family aircraft, the California-based lessor’s largest purchase to date. Deliveries are scheduled from 2032 to 2035, extending ACG’s narrowbody pipeline into the middle of the next decade and giving it additional aircraft to support airline fleet replacement and growth requirements.

The agreement includes conversion rights between A320neo Family variants, allowing ACG to adjust the mix of aircraft before delivery. The transaction raises its outstanding orders for the family to 115 aircraft, while Airbus places ACG’s cumulative historical orders at 190.

ACG had 118 A320neo Family aircraft in its fleet at the end of June 2026. The lessor plans to make the new aircraft available to airline customers seeking new-generation single-aisle capacity, including operators without direct Airbus order positions.

Neither Airbus nor ACG disclosed the purchase price, the initial allocation between A320neo and A321neo aircraft, the engine selection or the airlines expected to lease the jets. Airbus describes the A320neo Family as offering at least 20% lower fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions than previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.
