Avolon has agreed to sell a 33-aircraft portfolio to Lesha Bank LLC (Public) in a deal that expands the Qatari lender’s aviation platform and adds to its managed fleet. The portfolio comprises commercial aircraft leased to 25 airlines worldwide and will be managed by Lesha Aviation Services after completion, taking Lesha Bank’s total managed fleet to more than 75 aircraft.
The transaction covers a diversified mix of leased assets rather than a single aircraft type or airline. It highlights continued institutional appetite for aircraft portfolios backed by long-term lease income and extends the relationship between Avolon and Lesha Bank. The companies did not disclose the transaction value or a breakdown of aircraft types in the material available.
