ST Engineering has secured a two-year exclusive agreement with Hebei Airlines to provide Performance Restoration Shop Visit services for CFM56-7B engines powering the carrier’s Boeing 737-800 fleet. The work will begin in September 2026 and be carried out at ST Engineering’s aerospace facility in Xiamen, China, with the initial programme covering 14 engine shop visits.
The contract extends ST Engineering’s engine MRO presence in China and builds on its existing capabilities in Singapore and Xiamen. Hebei Airlines has worked with the group for years, and the new arrangement keeps maintenance of the 737-800 fleet within a dedicated support programme for the widely used CFM56-7B engine. ST Engineering is also expanding other airline support ties in the region, including separate component collaborations, as it continues to grow its commercial aerospace business.
