Condor will end its Sanya service at the end of October, with the last scheduled intra-Asia sector currently set for 22 October on the Frankfurt–Bangkok–Sanya rotation. The route is operated three times a week with Airbus A330-900 aircraft and forms part of Condor’s long-haul leisure network from Frankfurt to China via Bangkok.
The decision trims one of Condor’s China services as the airline adjusts its long-haul programme to demand and economics. Sanya has been sold alongside Haikou as a Hainan Island destination, with Bangkok functioning as the intermediate point for onward flights. Condor’s published network and timetable information still list Sanya in Asia, but the latest scheduling update indicates the route will not continue into the winter season.
The move leaves Condor with a smaller China footprint within its broader leisure network, while Bangkok remains a key hub for connecting traffic across the carrier’s Asia services.
