Iberia will begin rolling out new cabin interiors across its long-haul fleet in 2027, alongside a progressive deployment of free high-speed Wi‑Fi, as it prepares for its centenary and advances its Flight Plan 2030 strategy. The announcement came in Madrid during the carrier’s 100 Days for 100 Years event, with the long-haul fleet currently standing at 51 aircraft and targeted to grow to 70.
The cabin update forms part of a broader passenger-experience push tied to the airline’s centenary year in 2027. Iberia is also moving ahead with free connectivity across more of its fleet through Starlink technology, building on earlier steps in its onboard Wi‑Fi rollout.
Flight Plan 2030 remains the airline’s main strategic framework for fleet growth and product renewal, with Madrid-Barajas positioned at the centre of the carrier’s long-haul network expansion. The airline has not yet disclosed the interior design, retrofit sequence by aircraft type or a detailed timetable for the cabin programme.
