SR Technics begins Garuda Indonesia CFM56 maintenance in Zurich

SR Technics has started maintenance support for selected CFM56 engines operated by Garuda Indonesia, with the work handled at its engine maintenance operations in Zurich. The assignment is aimed at supporting the Indonesian flag carrier’s fleet readiness, operational requirements and maintenance resilience.

The move extends SR Technics’ role in the maintenance, repair and overhaul market for legacy CFM engines, which remain widely used in commercial service. For Garuda Indonesia, access to dedicated shop support in Europe helps sustain dispatch reliability and continuity for its operating fleet.

The available reports do not disclose the number of engines covered, the value of the work or the schedule for completion. They also do not indicate any broader fleet agreement beyond the selected engines now entering maintenance support.
