Royal Brunei Airlines picks Collins Aerospace support for Boeing 787 fleet

Royal Brunei Airlines has chosen Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, for two 12-year agreements covering FlightSense and Dispatch services for its current and future Boeing 787 fleet. The Singapore-based deal is designed to improve operational efficiency, reliability and maintenance planning across avionics, cargo, electrical power, environmental control and lighting systems.

FlightSense will use Collins’ Ascentia analytics platform to process aircraft data and guide predictive, reliability-based maintenance for the airline’s widebody fleet. Dispatch will provide asset, logistics, spares and repaired-parts support under a fixed-rate model, with guaranteed component availability intended to reduce downtime and improve cost predictability.

Collins positions FlightSense as a full-lifecycle maintenance support programme, while Dispatch is part of its global avionics maintenance offering. The agreements come as airlines continue to invest in data-driven aftermarket support to strengthen fleet performance and manage maintenance costs more consistently.
