KLM plans Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam return in winter schedule

KLM plans to restore Amsterdam services to Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam from the start of its winter schedule on 25 October, as it rebuilds Middle East capacity after earlier suspensions tied to regional conflict. The return is tied to the carrier’s winter 2026-27 programme, which also introduces its first Airbus A350 operations and covers 164 destinations.

The Gulf routes remain conditional on the security situation in the Middle East, so the timetable is still subject to change. KLM’s travel alert page currently keeps flights to and from Dubai, Dammam and Riyadh paused only until 24 October, matching the planned restart window.

The services were suspended earlier in 2026 and their resumption would restore capacity to both the UAE and Saudi Arabia for winter travel and business demand. The network update also indicates that flights on the routes will be operated mainly by Boeing aircraft this winter as the carrier continues phasing out its Airbus A330-200 fleet.
