American Airlines has entered a multiyear partnership with Inter Miami CF, becoming the club’s first-ever official airline partner and an official partner of Nu Stadium and Miami Freedom Park in Miami. The deal also gives American naming rights to the West Club at the new venue, which will be called the American Lounge, and expands the carrier’s visibility around one of football’s most commercially prominent clubs.
The agreement ties the airline to Inter Miami’s premium fan-experience strategy as the club continues to build out its stadium project and wider commercial platform. Fans will gain access to new travel and hospitality offers through American’s AAdvantage loyalty programme, including exclusive matchday experiences and other club-related benefits. The partnership also includes international marketing rights intended to support the global growth of both brands.
For American, the deal extends its sponsorship footprint beyond aviation and into elite sports hospitality, with prominent exposure inside a venue expected to play a central role in Miami’s football and events market. For Inter Miami, it adds another major brand partner linked to the club’s new stadium development and its broader commercial push around Lionel Messi’s global profile.
