Eurowings launches contest to name four A320s after exceptional people

Eurowings has launched a competition inviting the public to nominate “Herzensmenschen” for a place on four Airbus A320 aircraft, with the selected nominees’ first names to be displayed on the jets. The airline is seeking people who make a difference in family life, among friends, in clubs, through volunteering or in everyday life, and nominations are open until 11 October.

Entrants must explain why their chosen person deserves the recognition. A jury will review submissions after the deadline and choose four winners, whose stories are due to be presented in December. The campaign is framed as a recognition initiative rather than a fleet or branding overhaul, with Eurowings aiming to honour people who help others and deserve public appreciation.
