ONEflight International has paused all flight activity for 30 days, or until further notice, while it reviews its operations and status. The Denver-based private jet charter broker’s move halts jet card and charter-related customer flying and has raised concerns over the security of prepaid funds tied to its programme.
The pause comes after months of reports about payment strain and operational pressure at the broker. Industry coverage has estimated that more than $150 million in prepaid flying could be exposed, reflecting the amount of customer money typically paid in advance and not held in escrow. That figure remains an estimate rather than a confirmed loss.
ONEflight’s business model relies on advance payments from jet card clients, making the suspension a credit and liquidity issue as well as an operational one. Earlier customer communications included a 35% economic surcharge, while reports also pointed to unpaid balances owed to operators. The company has not disclosed how it plans to proceed after the 30-day period ends.
