ACJ sees Asian large-aircraft demand strengthen

Airbus Corporate Jets expects stronger large-aircraft demand in Asia as financiers and brokers in the region broadly anticipate market growth. The outlook aligns with Airbus’ wider Asia-Pacific forecast, which points to resilient aircraft demand across the region despite geopolitical and supply-chain pressure.

Airbus’ Asia-Pacific market briefing in Hong Kong indicated that demand remains firm and that customers continue to show readiness to take deliveries. The planemaker’s 2026-2045 forecast puts Asia-Pacific at about 45% of the roughly 42,000 new aircraft needed globally over the next 20 years, underscoring the region’s weight in future fleet expansion.

Within that outlook, China is projected to require 8,830 new passenger aircraft, India 3,480 and the rest of Asia-Pacific 6,880. Airbus also expects regional traffic to grow by 5.1% a year over two decades, with India remaining the fastest-growing market in Asia-Pacific. That demand profile supports a durable case for widebody and large-cabin business jet activity across the region.
